    Series 500 Luminaires

  • Back by popular demand, the VARI*LITE® VL500™ Wash luminaire is based upon the Emmy® Award winning VL5™ Wash luminaire, but with significant design improvements.

    The patented and innovative DICHRO*TUNE™ radial colour mixing system employs three sets of 16 radially mounted dichroic blades - magenta, blue, and amber - designed to produce a smooth, full spectrum of colour cross-fades.

    The VL500 is designed with natural convection cooled lamps, and internally cooled electronics which utilize low velocity, low noise micro-fans. The VL500 is a stand-alone fixture with no additional onboard equipment required, except for an external dimmer. Simply plug in DMX512 and power, and the VL500 may be controlled through a variety of DMX512 lighting control consoles.

    The VL500 comes standard with an on-board, backlit, invertible LCD display. This enhanced display is easy to read with or without the backlight on.

    Series 1000 Luminaires

  • The VARI*LITE® VL1000™ ERS luminaire combines the functionality of one of the most popular conventional lighting tools - the ellipsoidal reflector spotlight - with the versatility of an automated luminaire.

    Automated functions include CYM colour mixing, rotating gobos, variable diffusion, and a zoom lens that ranges from 19° to 36° for normal imaging and a super zoom function that ranges to 70°.

    Models VL1000AI and VL1000AS deliver more than 15,000 lumens with the higher colour temperature of the 575 watt arc source. These models also include a mechanical dimmer and a truss mounted, fanless ballast.

  • The VARI*LITE® VL2500™ Spot luminaire is based on a very popular existing lighting tool - the VL2000™ Spot luminaire - with additional new features that make it even more appealing.

    The VL2500 Spot luminaire comes complete with all of the qualities and options designers love from the original Series 2000™ fixtures. It is still small, lightweight, and fast with a 700-watt shortarc lamp, impressive lumen output, and a zoom range from 18.5° to 42°.

    To add to these features, the VL2500 Spot luminaire provides three-wheel CYM colour mixing. When combined with 11 standard colours on a fixed wheel, the colour options are practically limitless.

    Series 3000 Luminaires

  • The VARI*LITE® VL3000™ Spot luminaire sets new standards for imagery, beam control, colour and brightness in spot luminaires.

    The VARI*LITE® VL3000™ Spot luminaire features a 6:1 zoom optics, CYM colour mixing, variable CTO colour temperature correction, a six-position colour wheel, three gobo/effects wheels, a beam size iris and separate dimmer and ultra-fast strobe mechanisms. A standard pallet of gobos, effects and colours is provided with the unit. Custom gobos, effects and colour are available.

    The luminaire is the same size as the VL3000 Wash luminaire, providing a consistent hang configuration and appearance no matter which luminaire type is required.
