The result is the Jands HPX. If you need a specific output connector, the HPX can do it. If you want a specific ristime, the HPX can do it. If you want twelve 20A channels in a 3RU chassis, the HPX can do it. Single Phase operation in the US or Japan – no problem.
But the HPX isn’t only about configurability – we’ve looked at how dimmers are used, who uses them, and what they want. The resulting HPX has a simple mobile phone style interface with a limited number of options that won’t confuse you. The software also includes some high–tech features that minimise problems the user may encounter, such as a soft over–temperature limit that dims the outputs down as it approaches the limits instead of shutting off like other dimmers do, and soft–start test channel activation to protect your lamps and wiring. The circuit breakers are recessed so they won’t get knocked about and the dual temperature controlled fans minimise acoustic noise. The HPX’s electronics have been designed to operate from a wide voltage/frequency range with tough filters to minimise problems with noisy supplies often found with portable generators and old building wiring. Serviceability has been enhanced too – the output devices are easier to change than ever before. The result is a no–hassles dimmer you can can send out anywhere, anytime, with anyone.
